Roasted beef with sweet red onion preserve

Roasted meat is a classic that goes perfectly with a red onion jam. In fact, the strong flavor of the onion enhances the meat, both red and white, and gives a unique taste to the game too.
In this recipe we used the Sweet Red Onion Preserve Cascina San Cassiano, but also try it with the Cranberry Sauce or the Black Fruits Extra Preserve Cascina San Cassiano.
Ingredients
- 800 gr of veal
- 150 gr of Mayonnaise with Tuber Aestivum Truffle Cascina San Cassiano
- sage
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 glass of white wine
- 1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- extra virgin olive oil
- Sweet Red Onion Preserve Cascina San Cassiano
- or Cranberry sauce Cascina San Cassiano
Preparation
In a pan, prepare a cooking base with oil, a few sage leaves and a clove of garlic, in which to brown the meat from all sides. Add a pinch of salt if necessary. Once the meat is well browned, pour the white wine into the pan and cook for another 45 minutes. Cut the roast into slices and serve with a spoonful of red onion jam or Cranberry sauce and one of Tuber Aestivum truffle mayonnaise.
